As an architect, I’ve always sought out opportunities for creativity. As my role has evolved into project management, that hasn’t changed. Every day I get to work with project teams and clients to deliver incredibly complex projects that meet strict requirements of all types. Doing so requires our teams to rethink standard approaches and push beyond the norm. It’s a different kind of creativity, but it’s the kind that leads to the long-term clients our firm is known for.

Roberto has a wealth of experience in the design and management of large scale, complex projects that span across multiple CannonDesign offices. He has a focused attention to client leadership, working closely with the client and team to deliver an efficient and engaging project management process. His most recent projects include the Centre hospitalier de l’Universite de Montreal—one of North America’s largest academic medical centers—and a large-scale, high density mixed-use development in Virginia. In addition to Roberto’s responsibilities as a client and team leader, he serves as Washington DC’s office Business Practice Manager. In this role, he is responsible for the financial performance, staff development and organization of the office.

While Roberto is one of the most organized and efficient project managers around, his true passion is design.  Roberto enjoys painting, photography, sketching and maintaining his Tumblr presence with over 215,000 followers.
