Erin Barkman

Erin believes in a dynamic design approach that synthesizes cultural and regional attributes with client needs to create a comprehensive and balanced design narrative. Working in our DC office, she is a key part of our higher education practice where she helps institutions respond to the complex forces evolving education with breakthrough spaces and experiences that fuel student success. Using a multifaceted collaboration strategy, she optimizes group discussion and input from all stakeholders to facilitate a creative and efficient design process.

Recognized as a next generation leader within CannonDesign, Erin is also a member of our firm’s NEXT Council where she works alongside firm leaders to push new ideas forward that differentiate CannonDesign as a leading employer and design solutions practice.
