Carrie Parker, AIA, LEED AP
Ensuring the successes of the next generation is the core of my purpose. I love to create places that ensure the future of students and the institutions that serve them, and I take a lot of pride in making positive change that manifests itself physically and in people’s hearts and minds.
Carrie’s passion is people – from a project’s impact to her team’s success, she thrives when people succeed. She has developed close working relationships with client institutions on a variety of student life projects across the country, from Florida to Texas and beyond. Carrie thrives as a detailed academic planner, project manager and designer. A firm believer in architect as advocate, Carrie sees her design work in service to society. Her pro-bono and community work is further evidence of this ethos, seeking design solutions to society’s pressing problems through the Connected DMV Smart Cities initiative as co-chair for the Buildings and Urban Design Solutions Group. Her heart for service knows no bounds and received AIA Virginia’s 2020 Emerging Professional Award.
