Andrew Blocha, AIA

Andrew oversees the creative direction of our Texas-based practice and the design of major healthcare, education and science projects across the country. For forward thinking clients, his “architecture through anthropology” methodology examines the internal workings of projects to uncover and challenge implicit assumptions about form and function, and open new possibilities for expression and experience. The results are visually captivating, contemporary places and spaces deeply rooted in community, with strongly optimistic stories.

Across his more than 30-year career, Andrew has designed culture-shaping projects ranging in scale from commercial interiors to corporate headquarters, and higher education, research and healthcare campuses. His projects have been recognized by the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, International Interior Design Association and Healthcare Design for their design achievements.
