CannonDesign has supported the US General Services Administration on sustainability improvements in major capital projects across the nation. Our work consistently fulfills the requirements of the Guiding Principles for High Performance Federal Buildings and specifically addresses the mandate to reduce energy consumption outlined in Executive Order 13423. Some prominent examples include:

  • The $97 million renovation of the John C. Kluczyinski Building, a continuously occupied 1.4 million sf, 43-story landmark federal office building that significantly improved energy performance
  • Work as construction manager, commissioning authority and LEED administrator for the $137 million Robert H. Jackson U.S. Courthouse, which exceeded federal high-performance standards
  • Development of design documents for extensive sustainability upgrades of four floors at the one million sf federal office building at 300 North Los Angeles Street
