Inspired to significantly strengthen University HealthSystem Consortium’s (UCH) image and ability to recruit and retain staff, the company made the decision to relocate from its suburban office to a downtown Chicago high-rise with expansive views.

The new headquarters is a hub for its members, and the theme of connection – specifically as it relates to systems of the body – is at the core of the design vision. Evoking firing synapses and neural connections, aesthetically our design makes allusions to these systems, while physically the workplace fosters collaboration for UHC’s staff and its membership as they work to strengthen the future of healthcare.
