Boutique Hotel Extends Vibrancy of Performing Arts District

Hotel Bravo, Kansas City, MO

A new boutique hotel will add 150 rooms to Kansas City’s thriving performing arts district. Located directly east of the arts-themed Civic Lawn and facing the iconic Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, Hotel Bravo will serve Kansas City locals and visitors with entertaining amenities and convenient access to some of downtown’s most prominent cultural assets.

A formal lawn with water feature will greet guests at the hotel’s entrance on Wyandotte Street, planting itself in the district’s cultural atmosphere; a raised plinth will offer dramatic views. A planned pedestrian grand staircase will link the porto cochere to a plaza directly east of the hotel, fronting West Baltimore Street.

The hotel’s first level offers registration, concierge, meeting rooms, and a welcoming piano bar and lounge, plus back-of-house functions; a fitness room is available on the mezzanine level. A fine-dining restaurant at street level offers frontage along Wyandotte Street; a bar and lounge accessible off the lobby offers additional outdoor dining and bar service overlooking the formal lawn. A hammered copper exterior finish adds sophistication to this prime dining location.

Guest room floors include day-lit wide corridors and cozy lounges with fireplaces that offer close-up views of the Kauffman Center. Included in the guest tower is a combination of 400 sf king and double-queen rooms, two-room suites, and the exclusive Kauffman Suite, offering generous views, an adjoining king guest room, and private entrance. The 12th floor also offers a public bar and lounge with panoramic views and a reflecting pool.
