DCI Artform, Chicago, IL

DCI Artform is one of the largest retail shopper marketing agencies in the world, having worked with numerous Fortune 100 global companies to develop and deliver award-winning retail marketing solutions. The new Chicago office launches a technology hub and creates ease of access to clients and greater visibility for the company within the central United States. As an international and digital organization, DCI Artform required space to accommodate for clients traveling to the office.

Our team pulled design inspiration from the home, integrating residential influences into the workplace. The café and meeting areas function as living spaces, allowing DCI Artform’s clients that travel far distances to feel relaxed and at ease. Comfort was also influential – not just for visitors, but also employees who work long hours and spend the majority of their day in the office. The café has a full service coffee bar and functional seating to accommodate multiple uses and work styles. Throughout the office, there are various working environments that allow employees to be flexible and use spaces that accommodate their specific functions and tasks.

The Digital CAVE
At the center of the new office, a digital CAVE virtually showcases retail environments. The CAVE puts DCI Artform’s clients inside virtual environments to see options for future product displays. This technology enables them to show their clients the “why” behind design solutions. Using high-resolution laser and stereoscopic projection and 3D computer graphics, the CAVE creates a complete sense of the client’s brand in a virtual environment. The CAVE is a remarkable asset for DCI Artform as it allows them to better engage brands, save costs as they model their retail displays and create the most effective, cutting-edge solutions possible – all helping to differentiate DCI and its clients from their respective competitors. The virtual CAVE enables DCI Artform to translate their philosophy of retail science to their clients – allowing them to discover, immerse and visualize end solutions.
