Our philosophy

We help educational leaders envision and create the organizational and physical infrastructure needed so every student can flourish.

We build learning environments around the five drivers we believe are key to improving the local education ecosystem in cities and regions: Readiness, Equity, Resilience, Wellness and Community. Our approach creates spaces that not only educate, but also support thriving economies and arm students with the skills they need to be successful and self-reliant.

Our problem-solving method, called Living-Centered Design, is featured in The Third Teacher. We authored this acclaimed book to demonstrate how the design of a school is intrinsically linked to teaching and learning — and how purposeful design strategies can create a new blueprint for the future of PK-12 education.
