On Sunday, Sept. 26, Punit co-led the Pre-Conference Training Session along with Dan Doyle of Grumman/Butkus Associates. Their presentation, titled, “Sustainable Strategies for Laboratory Planning, Design, and Operation,” set the stage for future conversations at the conference regarding the pressing challenge of climate change and how laboratory strategies can support environmental and economic sustainability as well as human health.
On Monday, Sept. 27, he moderated the afternoon “A2 Sessions” focused on design.
On Tuesday, Sept 28, Punit led his presentation titled, “STEM and Healthcare Education at the Bioscience Innovation Building: The New Campus Hub at Purdue University Northwest” where he explored sustainable lab strategies from the recently opened project.
Lastly, Punit presented one final time with “A Dynamic Hub for Energy and Sustainability Research: Caltech Resnick Sustainability Center” where he revealed the innovative sustainable strategies envisioned for the upcoming project.
