Kyle Ritchie to Discuss New Book on Circular Economy at Global Press Event

Kyle Ritchie, sustainable design lead for our education practice, will be participating in a virtual press conference on April 14 at 9 a.m. EST to discuss his new book, Circular Economies for Dummies.

Co-written with our firm’s director of sustainability, Eric Corey Freed, the book shines light on the downfalls of the linear take-make-waste economy and introduces how a circular economy—which is aimed at eliminating waste and the continual use of resources—can catapult our world toward the more sustainable future we urgently need.

The press conference is an official side event to the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) organized by the Finnish innovation fund Sitra. It will also serve as a soft launch of Home – Imagine Circularity (imagine-circularity.world), the first survey initiative engaging citizens and other stakeholders around the world to provide their views, perceptions and ideas on what the circular economy is from their point of view.

During the press conference, Kyle will be joined by fellow circular economy experts from around the globe to discuss the book and share thoughts on the changes that need to happen for the world to design waste and pollution out of our economy.
