Greg HeiserCannonDesign’s Greg Heiser, a leader within our healthcare practice, will speak at the 2018 Lean Construction Institute (LCI) Congress in Orlando, Florida. Greg will be co-presenting “Act II: An Owner’s Perspective: How IPD outperformed Design-Build – The results speak for themselves,” along with leaders from Bay Area Medical Center (BAMC), The Boldt Company, and  Bassett Mechanical on Thurs., Oct. 18 at 2:55 p.m.

This breakout session follows a prior LCI presentation in 2016 on BAMC. In this follow up session, the integrated project team will share results and lessons learned from the success and failures from the BAMC Replacement Hospital, completed in June 2018. The team will highlight how the Lean process helped them overcome unforeseen hurdles through the course of the project, and how their integrated delivery solution saved millions of dollars compared to traditional delivery or a design-build approach.

The 20th Annual LCI Congress will bring together owners, trade partners, members of the design community, general contractors and other Lean professionals to get inspired, learn from Lean success stories and build relationships, expand networks and foster collaboration. To learn more and register for this conference, please visit the official LCI Congress website.
