The University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL) College of Business Administration recently hosted the grand opening of its new Anheuser-Busch Hall. Designed by CannonDesign in association with Grice Group Architects, the 51,000 sf facility consolidates multiple business departments spread over five facilities in one location, providing a home base for business students and community members alike.
“This is a historic moment for the University of Missouri–St. Louis, its more than 2,500 business students and the people of Missouri,” said Charles Hoffman, dean of UMSL’s College of Business Administration. “Our new home will enhance the student experience and allow for extended community collaboration.”
The new facility includes seminar rooms, group-learning environments, faculty offices, advising centers and a professional education space dedicated to outreach to the local business community. It also features a trading room complete with 12 Bloomberg terminals and a real-time financial stock ticker.
“This facility enhances the synergy between academic and experiential learning that can prepare students to lead effectively in today’s ever-changing society,” said CannonDesign principal Mike Felton. “We’re thrilled to see Anheuser-Busch Hall come to fruition, and to have worked with such great partners.”
