Bonike and Steve will join three other experts from across the design industry in a town hall that introduces J.E.D.I as a sub-committee of AIA St Louis. The session will focus on what J.E.D.I offers and ignite discussion on why justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion are important in the business, particularly in the St. Louis/Eastern Missouri region.
Other topics that will be discussed include personal identity, discrimination, and areas of diversity beyond race and gender such as disabilities, citizenship, and age.
The sub-committee welcomes anyone to attend the event, from established architects to students and anyone else interested in the topic.
