CannonDesign will host a tour of the University of the District of Columbia’s new Student Center at SCUP-52, SCUP’s Annual Conference. The tour will take place from 1
2:50 to 2:50 p.m. Participants should meet at Marriott Wardman Park, at the 24th Street entrance.
The tour will highlight how the Student Center has become a gateway to the campus core. Participants will see how the placement of the building on the campus edge contributes to the urban placemaking of a commercial hub along a busy urban corridor, contributing to a more vibrant and economically vital neighborhood. Metro transit tickets will be provided, and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
