Emma Cuciurean-Zapan and Nicole Wiznitzer of CannonDesign, and Rasmus Lynnerup of the Civic Consulting Alliance, will host an interactive workshop at the CannonDesign Chicago office as part of Chicago Ideas Week (CIW), an annual seven-day festival featuring over 200 global thought leaders and innovators. Participants are encouraged to bring ideas and collaborate on how to solve life’s most pressing social issues.
Using design-focused thinking, attendees will work on a series of real-world design scenarios to learn how an inclusive design process creates a positive impact in communities throughout Chicago. The goal of the workshop is to build coalitions around topics relating to the justice system, local economic disparities and engaging the next generation of civic leaders.
