Jann Gao, MS, CLSSBB

Leveraging her background in industrial engineering and healthcare, Jann’s analytical approach is apparent across strategic and operational engagements. As an experienced Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, project manager and healthcare consultant, she understands the complexity of integrating healthcare delivery with education and design. She brings the expertise necessary to lead data-driven and Lean-driven engagements through this complexity, aiming to deliver solutions that create remarkable experiences for patients, family and providers. She has worked both domestically and internationally with widely respected health systems.

Prior to joining Blue Cottage of CannonDesign, Jann was an operations consultant for a global health design practice and a healthcare business process engineer at Montefiore Health System in Yonkers, New York. She earned her MS in Industrial Engineering and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Binghamton University and is currently pursuing her Master Black Belt from Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business.

Recognized as a next generation leader within CannonDesign, Jann is also a member of our firm’s NEXT Council where she works alongside firm leaders to push new ideas forward that differentiate CannonDesign as a leading employer and design solutions practice.
