Emily Stampanato is a client leader at CannonDesign focused on project leadership and business development for their Commercial practice in Chicago. Emily is a graduate of Purdue University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. She is active in her community, where she serves as the VP of Membership for IIDA Illinois and is an active member of the Purdue Alumni Women’s Council of Chicago. Her philanthropic involvement includes City of Hope and Giant Steps.

Emily launched her career in Chicago, where she has worked as an interior designer focused on healthcare, higher education and discovery projects. She advanced from interior designer to Director of Interior Design, a role in which she managed the design for high profile projects ranging from 20,000 to 1,000,000 square feet. After six years of working in institutional markets, she shifted her focus to workplace design, which continues to be her concentration today. Emily’s passion for people and knack for building strong client relationships has evolved her studio leadership position into a business development role, where she concentrates on client advocacy and relationship prospecting.
